Enjoyed this a lot. Went back to your original pilot page and reread all four pages together; what a great story!
Lots of tension, mixed with humor and warmth; and its a situation that doesn't need a lot of background to get into. The lively dialogue and personable pencil expressions work so well together that I wouldn't make any changes in the style. Well done!
